LoopHole May Let UK Users Get ManHunt 2

Everyone by now should know that Manhunt 2 was banned in the UK, by the BBFC because it was to violent. Since then a lawyer Phill Carnell, who works with the legal firm CMS Cameron McKenna found a loophole that will allow UK users to get a copy of manhunt 2.

A 1984 loop hole in the UK’s Video Recordings Act says that downloaded games do not have to go through the certification. So this means that if the company rockstar decides to sell it in the UK they can do so by allowing users to download it. Keep checking back for more about this topic, that is all we have for now.

And expect manhunt 2 to be in stores Monday, October 29th in the US.

Team Fortress 2 Update Fixes Lag!

Orange Box 360 Update Available:
This second update for the Box primarily includes enhancements for Team Fortress 2.
Here’s a list of what’s included:
- Reduced network bandwidth usage in multiplayer.
- Improved overall game performance.
- Arranged search results to favor preferred host conditions.
- Improved searching for ranked games.
- Addressed a possible false report of too little storage space on larger hard drives.

Everyones knows that there have been some kick ass releases so far this year, such as Halo 3, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Guitar hero 3 (Tomorrow) , the list just goes on and on!

The best part is, releases like these are still coming! Call of duty 4, Crysis, unreal tournament 3. Megatonik has compiled a great list of games and when they are going to be released! This holiday everyone is going to be broke, there are so many good games for the taking. So go beg from whomever for some money, your going to need it!

Personal Gaming Review On The Call Of Duty 4 Demo!

Hello

Im going to be reviewing the game call of duty 4 (demo) for the PC. First off i would like to stay it is just an incredible game, the graphics are so intense, insane action, amazing sounds, the game play is perfect. This is defiantly the best game Activison/Infinity ward and whomever else helped with the project has made out of all four call of duties, and it has to be my favorite FPS now, and i only played the demo!

You start off with an M4A1, with an m203 attached (Grenade launcher), you are put right into action, and your main goal is to make sure the tank doesn’t get destroyed, because it is pinned down by multiple hostiles. And if you are not careful, you will get killed very easy. So for action i give this game a 10/10 at least in the demo, but i can see the real game being the same way, I just cant wait for multi player action!

The graphics, wow the graphics! They are completely stunning, everything from the decals to the smoke is perfect, especially if you have a fast computer with anti aliasing maxed. For graphics i give this game 10/10 , perfect in every witch way!

The guns sound so realistic, feel so realistic, and look realistic, i have never seen a game get so close to real war! There are RPG’s buzzing by your head, grenades flying every witch way (you can throw them back at the enemy!). The best out of it all is the game play, its just plain perfect. Game play is also voted 10/10 , and i feel good about giving this game a perfect score, and of course the fun factor is 10/10!

I vote this game overall 10/10 and i have never done that before with any game, but this game deserves it!

Halo Movie Is Not Completely Dead Yet

I have been reading some interesting articles, it seems that the halo movie isnt completely dead yet! Thanks to 1up for this very interesting article on the rumor!

Earlier this month, Neill Blomkamp, the would-be director of the ill-fated Halo movie, said the project was “entirely dead.” Yes, as it existed, but that’s not to say the possibility of a Halo movie in some form or another is out the window. In fact, Variety reports that preparation work on the Halo film continues at Weta, while Microsoft is in talks to find new distribution partners.”

“Kamins also shot down both the rumors of a swelling budget and dissatisfaction with Blomkamp. ‘The only budget the filmmakers every spoke about was $145 million less the 12.5% rebate that you get from shooting in New Zealand, which would put it at about $128 million,’ said [Jackson representative Ken Kamins]. And of the director, Kamins said, ‘Everybody is supremely confident in Neall. Part of what excited Peter and Fran was Neill’s vision. Nintendo Is Number One For Software Sales!

I have some amazing news for you today! Gamasutra reports that analyst group iSuppli has figured out that Nintendo has taken the first place slot from Sony for most software sold!The report says that nintendo made $1.2 billion in the third quarter, which is up from $943.6 million in the second quarter and that is just from there Wii and DS Software! The revenue has doubled since Nintendo has released the Wii.

Sony generated around $1 billion from the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. And of course in third place Microsoft has made $317.8 million. Nintendo Wii is definitely my favorite console as well, i just love how its so interactive, it doesn’t get boring as fast as other consoles.

Bioshock Halloween Costume!

This guy dresses up as the bioshock character and has his daughter play the little girl character in the video game. I have to say, that costume is kick ass, must be custom designed to.

And doesnt that little girl kind of look scary with that make up ? She could be really scary if she wasnt smiling, reminds me of the girl from F.E.A.R lol

Boy Punches Mother Over Halo 3!

This kid was playing halo 3 peacefully until his mother forced him to get off because it was late, when he refused. The mother took the air card out of the xbox 360, so he couldnt play anymore. The kid went berserk and started punching his mother while hunting for the air card.

Soon as he found the card he locked himself in his room and continued playing. While he was playing halo 3, his mother was calling the cops. Some time later the cops arrived and the kid was punching the officers aswell, he got arrested and then got turned over to state juvenile authorities on charges of battery-domestic violence and battery on a law-enforcement officer.

I guess we wont be seeing him for awhile, how psycho do you have to be to get into a game so much that you could punch your mother. If i was the mother i would have beaten his ass with a baseball bat, but thats just me.

Also people are asking what an air card is, it is a wireless device to go on the internet, like laptops.

Guitar Hero Makes $115 Million First Week

Activision is going to hit there record quarter!

Guitar Hero 3 has hit $115 Million in the first week of release, it has been there biggest seller for activision out of every game they have launched. I also read that activison isn’t to worried about EA’s Rock Band because they have different tracks etc.

I personally agree, the game Rock Band has great potential, but the music is just terrible. I am a classic rock fan myself, such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Guns n roses, Hendrix, all those great bands! And EA has let MTV select the music, no wonder its crap!

I just wish guitar hero 3 let you download music online, it would make that game ten times better!

One of the armor permutations for the Elite model – the Commando shoulders – isn’t unlocking properly for anyone. This is a code-related bug and something that we’re aware of and looking into. Fixes in Halo 3 are pretty complicated and when you adjust one thing, it can turn out like that sci-fi movie where dudes went back in time to see dinosaurs and when one of them stepped on a butterfly it somehow eradicated humanity’s future. We’re trying to not eradicate futures, folks, but we are looking into a number of issues and possible tweaks going forward.

Other dudes report their screenshots either aren’t uploading at all or are taking ages and eternities to upload to the Web site. This is an issue we’re aware of and looking into. The issue is related to the autosave and upload feature for screenshots not collecting data properly, and while it’s unfortunate that it’s not working as intended, there is a feasible workaround. In order to expedite the appearance of screenshots, you can upload them into your File Share, and because we prioritize the data in the share, you should see results quickly. We know it’s not the most elegant solution in human history and top men are working on permanent fixes.”

Manhunt 2 Taken off shelves

I came across an interesting article today, it says that target has taken manhunt 2 off there shelves for good. They will not be selling it because of extreme violence, but they continue to sell Hostel 2, Saw movies, etc? It bugs me how parents and others are so against a violent game but dont care about the movies, perhaps they even watch these movies themselves!

Best buy, Gamestop, and all the rest are still selling the game, so for now its just target taking this action. Take a look at this page and you will see not available in stores.

According to new research, VIDEO games help kids with ADHD. Researchers made a study last week showing the possitive effects in this non medical way to combat ADHD. "The University of Sydney wants to use video games with built-in biofeedback controls as a part of non-medical treatment."

Scientists from the university of sydney are looking for parents with children, both with ADHD and without to be apart of this research.

"Basically, the video game monitors heart rate and brainwave patterns to monitor how much concentration a child can gather while focusing on a video game. If a child’s brainwaves and heart rate drop below a certain level, indicating lack of concentration and focus, the child will lose control of the video game."

The goddess Hel ? daughter of Loki, Norse God of mischief, has been banished from the heavenly kingdom of Asgard for defying Odin?s rule. "Back in June we posted some screens for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, the MMORPG from Sony Online Entertainment. The developers have just issued some more new screens a second update to the game which includes the following fixes and additions:

Guild Halls
-Be the first to build a grand Guild Hall! Although Guild Hall Plots won’t be available until after server merges, quests to help you on you way are in game for those who can’t wait to get started!

Bind on Equip
- All equipable items that were bindable are now either bind on equip or bind on pickup, with the majority of the items being bind on equip.

Improvements Made to LFG!
- The Looking For Group tool is receiving a revamp, and now you’ll have the ability to display which quests you’re working on, as well as which dungeons you’d like to explore when looking for a group. There are many other options that allow the LFG tool to be tweaked to your liking!

Resting Has its Rewards!
- Heroes may now rest in Vanguard! Resting increases the rate at which a hero will gain adventuring, crafting, or diplomacy experience.

Diplomacy Becomes Level Based!
-Diplomacy has moved from a “skill-based” system to a “level-based” system to increase the opportunities for sphere interdependence.

Revamping the Diplomacy UI!
-Speaking just became a bit easier. Diplomats can now double-click cards during parlay to play them as if you had clicked the “Speak” button.
-Cards that are unusable due to refresh timers will now be dimmed until ready to play.

Deconstruction
-Deconstruction kits are now available for purchase from vendors for a minimal cost! Use these handy kits to convert items into a resource or dust.

New Item Level Requirements
-All equipable items in the Adventuring, Crafting, and Diplomacy spheres now have a minimum level to equip associated with them.

PvP Fixes Implemented!
-Many bugs have been banished from PvP to make combat more effective and fun for all those taking part!

Crash Fixes and Optimizations
-The Vanguard Team has put a lot of effort into both improving game performance and eliminating bugs that cause crashes. Highlights can be found in the full patch notes.

Find Your Way with Quest Tracking!
- Your Quest Tracker is making some changes for the better. Not only is the layout bigger, but you’ll better be able to decide which quests you see, which are hidden, and scroll over Tracker text for a brief summary of that quest!

Helpful UI Changes to Improve Item Identification!
- Keeping in line with our efforts to make Vanguard easier to understand and more intuitive, we have added a variety of improvements to items including descriptions of abilities and percentages of proc chances!

Scrolling Combat Text
- You can now switch on scrolling combat text in your Settings panel! There are many ways to tweak this option to make it most effective for your play style.

Pay-To-Play MMORPGs

1) World Of Warcraft
This MMORPG is definitely the best mmorpg out, has over 9million members.

2) Lord Of The Rings Online
This game is fantastic, the scenary is INTENSE! I actually quit WoW for this game, the only reason this game isnt first is because, its fairly new and has alot of bugs, content to be fixed. But i wouldnt doubt that this game will take first place within 6-12months or longer.

3) Eve Online
Now this is a different type of MMORPG, its a sci-fi mmorpg, this game has the best economy i have ever seen.

4) Final Fantasy XI
Though this game isnt as popular as its competitors, its still a very good game.

5) City of Heroes/ Villains
Great mmorpg for casual gamers , hardcore gamers MIGHT like it aswell just because of the PVP.

6) Dark Age Of Camelot
Now this is the best PVP mmorpg i have ever played, just because of there 3 realm system. Its a bit outdated but still very steady in terms of quality.

7) Everquest
This MMORPG used to be number one before WoW came out. I dont like how they have so many expansion packs, that just makes it to confusing etc.

8)Dungeons and dragons online
This MMORPG, is a bit different from the average MMORPG, it has very well written quests, this game is amazing if you like to solo play!

9)Lineage2
This game really rocks for PVP with there siege events, PVP gameplay etc. That being said, is the only really good thing about this game.

10)Saga of Ryzom
Not a well known mmorpg, heck i only heard about it a few months ago. It has a decent story line, with cool character freedom.

1)Guild Wars
This is the best game for free mmorpgs, you have to buy the game, but theres NO subscription fee!

2)Rappelz
This game looks amazing, wicked gameplay, since its free its on the top 10 chart!

3)Runescape
Yes i know, people hate it, or people love it. But this game is one of the most popular mmorpgs since its completly free and easy to play. And it is very addicting, but you have to actually get into it. Graphics/gameplay arent the best but makes up for it with being so addicting.

4)MapleStory
This is an mmorpg that i still play till this day, i love it. It may be a big grind, but its so addicting and theres so much to do. And of course 100% free

5)Sword of the New World
The creators of ragnorak online created this game, you can control 3 players at once, and all characters of the player are in a family. The graphics are stunning!

6)FlyFF
I used to play this alot, its a great game, you get to fly :) Hence fly for fun.

7)Supreme Destiny
Want to play a game with intense graphics? This is your game, i didnt find it all that fun but many people do.

8)Dungeon Runners
Now this game is cool, diablo 2 fans would like this.

9)ShadowBane
Was pay to play before, but now its free. Amazing pvp system.

10)Conquer Online
I used to play this game alot, its very fun. Graphics arent the best, but there ok.
